I know things feel heavy right now. In the last few months, we’ve seen harmful policies in Washington almost every day. WAVE supporters have told us they’re feeling overwhelmed, angry, and unsure where to turn. AND...
The Senate is considering a budget reconciliation package that would take us even further in the wrong direction.

Among other things, the abomination Donald Trump is calling the “One Big Beautiful Bill” would:
* Eliminate the tax on gun silencers , making our neighborhoods more dangerous.
* Defund Planned Parenthood and limit reproductive care , restricting women’s bodily autonomy while they deregulate guns.
* Slash $314 million from Wisconsin’s food assistance programs , potentially leaving millions of children and seniors hungry.
* Gut Medicaid , stripping healthcare from an estimated 63,000 Wisconsinites.

These are real, immediate harms—and we have a chance to stop them. Senator Ron Johnson is rallying opposition for the bill. We don't agree with Senator Johnson on why the bill is harmful, but we do agree that this bill should be voted down. Tell Ron Johnson that people across Wisconsin are strongly opposed to HR 1.
