Right now, Utah Senator Mike Lee and Senate Republicans are working to include a fire sale of Colorado’s public lands into President Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill.’ They want to sell up to 3.3 million acres of protected public lands across our country, including here in Colorado, to allow fossil fuel companies and real estate developers to exploit our precious landscapes.

Colorado’s public lands hold immense historical, cultural, economic, and recreational value to our state. Michael has spent years in the Senate working to further protect them, including helping protect over 53,000 acres within the Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument.
Now, the Trump administration is working to undo all of that, and more.
Conveniently, Montana will be excluded from this sale—thanks to Republican Senators Steve Daines and Tim Sheehy doing Trump’s bidding in the U.S. Senate.
Our public lands should be preserved and protected, not used as political bargaining chips.
