Run for Something

Hi there --

Juan Marcano is the son of Puerto Rican migrants and an architectural design professional looking to use his talents to revitalize Aurora, Colorado. Tami Sawyer is an activist who founded #takeemdown901, the successful movement to remove Confederate statues in Memphis, TN. Godfrey Santos Plata is a Filipino immigrant, renter, educator, and organizer who would be the first person elected to the California assembly as both an immigrant and an out member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

All 55 of our August endorsees are this good. They're parents and educators and voters and organizers. They see the problems in their communities, and they've got plans to solve them.

Take a minute to meet a few of our August endorsement class today.

Meet our August endorsement class!

This endorsement class includes 44 brand-new first- or second-time candidates and 11 RFS alumni running for reelection. Just as important: 60% of our August class are women and 17% identify as LGBTQ+. We couldn't be prouder to have this class join our team.

Check out our newest (and returning!) candidates, then chip in to give them a little boost today.
