Patriot,
“We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”
When Nancy Pelosi uttered those words to describe the thousand-plus-page monstrosity that was ObamaCare, it became a conservative rallying cry to oppose byzantine legislation that was too long for lawmakers to read or understand before voting on it.
Fifteen years later, the Republicans’ “big, beautiful bill” passed in much the same way.
In fact, the massive bill was pieced together in an all-day committee hearing, and debate started on the House floor in the middle of the night before the final text was even available.
So it wasn’t too surprising when the House rules, which require a bill be posted for representatives and their staff to read and review 72 hours in advance of any vote, were broken, and the bill was put up for a floor vote.
Only after they passed it did lawmakers discover what it contained. . .
. . . Including a provision to ban state and local governments from regulating artificial intelligence for the next ten years, by which time AI companies claim it will have completely transformed every aspect of our society.
“I did not know about this ... and I would have vote NO if I had known this was in there,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) admitted on X.
At least she admitted she hadn't read the bill and regretted it.
Many Republicans, including “leading conservatives,” are big fans of AI and are fighting to prevent its regulation.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is leading the fight in the Senate to protect AI . . . he even wants to make some state funding conditional on not regulating AI.
They actually want the government to use AI to spy on you and profile you.
There's one reason the government wants to block regulations on AI:
Reports indicate the statists tapped into their Big Tech pals to use AI to create one giant, comprehensive database on the American people – combining all of the data they've mined on you over the years.
The company creating this database, Palantir, created by a wealthy, Big Tech Republican financier, has been awarded a windfall of taxpayer funded contracts for the Surveillance State.
So it's no surprise that all of a sudden, Republicans are not concerned about the privacy implications of building an AI-powered database with personal data and information on every single American citizen.
Patriot, no administration, Democrat or Republican, can be trusted with your private, personal information.
The entire premise of warrantless mass surveillance is it entitles the government to spy on you, profile you, and target you for your politics and beliefs, without ever having any reason to do so.
Giving the government unfettered access to a massive database on you and your family without the ability for a state to put in restrictions is so dangerous.
It's CRITICAL you DEMAND your U.S. Senators REMOVE the AI moratorium from the “One Big, Beautiful Bill Act.”

AI companies admit – they even brag – AI will completely transform society over the next ten years, in ways that are unpredictable and potentially dangerous.
People have been predicting the dangers of artificial intelligence for many years.
“I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that,” a computer once told a doomed astronaut in the 1968 movie, “2001: A Space Odyssey.”
As it stands today, the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act would stop any state from being able to pull the plug.
This isn’t a matter of wanting more regulations from any government entity, it’s a matter of the federal government keeping their hands off the states and off your private information.
This bill has a long way to go before it is worthy of support – serious spending cuts need to be made – but you I simply must ensure the AI moratorium is killed RIGHT NOW.
Tell your U.S. Senators right now to REMOVE the AI moratorium from the “One Big, Beautiful Bill Act.”

Patriot, the government wants to combine all of their databases into one big, total surveillance database of you and every other American.
And they want to harness the power of AI to turn every email, every phone call, everything you do into a profile for their own purposes.
They want faceless bureaucrats to have full access to your personal information . . . which could be weaponized against you in the future.
And it's all in gross violation of the Fourth Amendment.
Contact your Senators now and demand they OPPOSE efforts to restrict state authority of AI.
This is extremely urgent, and this is a battle we can still win, so make sure you take just one minute to contact your U.S. Senators.
This has become an epic David and Goliath battle, and it’s critical you and I build up our forces and DOUBLE DOWN.
