John,

The attacks on our democracy are accelerating, and people from Washington, DC to Los Angeles are standing up to fight back. We’ll be joining the mass mobilization No Kings march and rally this Saturday in St. Paul, standing with our democracy allies and spreading the word about RCV and its power to set our democracy on a better path.

We are proud to be serving as an Event Partner, and to join with organizations and individuals from across the state who want to preserve and expand our democracy.

Join us! We’ll be:

  • Marching with our banner
  • Collecting petition signatures at the march line up and the rally
  • Tabling in the Rotunda

Schedule:

  • We will meet at Saint Paul College starting at 10:00am (look for the FairVote Minnesota RCV banner).
  • The lineup for the march is at 11:00am and the march will kick off at 12:00pm.
  • The rally is at 1pm.

We’re looking to have a big presence and signature collectors to drive home that the solutions RCV offers are real, and so is its support.

We’ll follow up with additional details about the march and our role there. Wear your RCV t-shirt if you have one—we’ll have one for you if you don’t.

Parking

You can find parking at the old Sears building located at 425 Rice St and on streets around the College. If you take transit, the Rice St / University Ave stop on the Green Line is slightly over a half a mile from the college and immediately adjacent to the Capitol.

For nearly 250 years we have had a form of government based on the sharing of power—and expanding democracy through hard-fought reforms. Now we are seeing our democratic progress being rolled back and dismantled. We must not let it happen—join us on Saturday to stand up against autocracy and continue the moment for a stronger and more resilient democracy through RCV!
