We know this has been an exhausting and overwhelming week. Here’s an update on everything that’s happened:

FIRST: Trump declared lawful protest as a rebellion and unleashed the military against protestors in Los Angeles.

THEN: Gov. Gavin Newsom bravely stood up to Donald Trump and SUED him for these unlawful actions.

NOW: Trump then called for Newsom to be ARRESTED and Speaker Johnson said he should be “tarred and feathered.”

This is a full-blown crisis not just for California, but for our democracy. And the California Democratic Party is standing on the front lines.
