In just a minute, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my campaign. I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so important.
At the end of this month, we close the books on the most important FEC fundraising deadline of our campaign so far. This is a big one.
Because right now, television ads are on the air in our race and our opponent is raising huge sums of money with the help of Mitch McConnell and other Washington Republicans.
Our campaign raises money differently. We’re powering our work through tens of thousands of individual donations, mostly small donations, from people who know how important it is to win this Senate seat.
And between now and June 30th, we need to do everything we possibly can to raise as much as we can to fight back before our deadline ends.
So here comes the part where I ask:
Thank you again for everything you’ve done to support this campaign since we launched. We are in a great position to win this race and if we keep going, if we keep fighting, that is what we are going to do.
