Friend --
Los Angeles is burning, again.
Insurrectionists are attacking police, storming federal buildings,
and even looting immigrant-owned businesses — the very people these
so-called “protests” claim to support.
LAPD has declared an unlawful assembly. Their officers are under
attack. Chaos reigns in the streets.
And what are Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass doing to stop it? Nothing.
They’re not just standing by, they’re siding with the mob.
They’ve encouraged the rioters and undermined law enforcement, even
as officers are being attacked in the streets. Newsom wants the
National Guard to go home. Why doesn’t he tell the rioters to go
home?
Even worse: we’re learning that the Coalition for Humane Immigrant
Rights, which received contracts or other awards totaling $113 million
in taxpayer funds under the Newsom Administration, is now accused of
bankrolling the riots.
California taxpayers may have unknowingly helped fund the
destruction of our own cities.
This didn’t have to happen. My Senate Bill 554 would’ve required
law enforcement to cooperate with the feds on violent illegal
immigrants before they were released from our jails and prisons. This
would have led immigration authorities straight to the criminals.
But the radical “Sanctuary State” crowd blocked it. Instead, they
told police to look the other way. Now, because California refuses to
cooperate, federal agents are forced to run broader raids and find
these criminals in the communities, like we’re seeing in LA.
This situation was entirely preventable.
Gavin Newsom keeps blaming Trump, but Trump is simply enforcing the
law. It’s Democrats who spent years normalizing illegal immigration,
defunding police, and defending violent criminals. Now they’re shocked
when it spirals out of control.
Newsom’s too obsessed with building his political brand to worry
about keeping Californians safe. But let’s be very clear: this is
Gavin Newsom’s party. And if America isn’t paying attention, this kind
of insanity is coming to a state near you.
Help
us hold Newsom and Bass accountable for their failure to control the
riots.
Thank you,
