Donald Trump is once again abusing the power of the executive branch.
This is uncharted territory, John. The scale and frequency of Trump’s executive overreach are unlike anything we’ve seen in modern American history. And the stakes get higher every single day.
From issuing sweeping executive orders that undermine the Constitution to weaponizing federal agencies against immigrants and protestors, this administration continues to test the limits of the law. Trump’s cruel ICE raids and brutal response to protests in Los Angeles are further proof that we need to rein in his authoritarian agenda.
I’ve filed numerous lawsuits against Trump and his administration, and together with my fellow Attorneys General, we’ve stopped many of his illegal orders in their tracks by challenging them on the grounds of executive overreach.
But I can promise you this fight is far from over.
