The Republican-led House just passed a sweeping bill that includes a direct attack on the nonprofit sector—and now it’s headed to the Senate. This is our moment to fight back.

Buried in the bill are provisions that would divert billions away from nonprofits like ALIGN. It slaps steep new taxes on foundations, punishes nonprofits for offering basic employee benefits, and tightens financial screws on organizations that serve our communities every day.

Tell the Senate to protect the nonprofit sector. Strip these harmful provisions from the bill before it's too late.

This bill has already drawn outrage from thousands of nonprofit workers. They know what’s at stake: less funding for food banks, legal aid, health clinics, and shelters. At ALIGN, this means less funding for our campaigns for worker and climate justice.

Lawmakers need to hear from us—loudly and immediately. They need to know that the American people won’t stand by while our social safety net is dismantled piece by piece.
