He THREATENED to slash funding to universities that refuse to follow his xenophobic, authoritarian, racist agenda.

Senator Cory Booker is BOLDLY speaking up once again — and calling on his colleagues in Congress to STOP Trump and his Republicans before the House votes whether to defund NPR in 2 hours:

Cory Booker: "We cannot stand by while the president tests the limits of our democracy"

John, when brave Democrats like Cory speak out, we have an obligation to listen!

But Trump is ESCALATING his authoritarianism day by day — even DEMANDING that the military throw him a $30 MILLION PARADE for his birthday! So if we don’t act immediately to stop his anti-democratic rampage against public broadcasting, our universities, and our free speech, Trump will take it as proof that we don’t have the strength to stand up to his faux-fascist agenda. We need 955 grassroots supporters to answer Cory’s call before it’s too late to show Trump we won’t let him steamroll our democracy and build the foundation of support we need to elect diverse Democrats. We’ll be honest, John: 

How we respond in this moment determines whether we have the strength to support diverse Democrats running in battleground races from coast to coast and finally topple Trump’s tiny majorities.

But if we don’t heed Cory’s GRAVE warning, Trump and his cronies will DISMANTLE public broadcasting, DEFUND universities for opposing MAGA ideals, and march THOUSANDS of soldiers and tanks through our streets. Everything about their plans is anti-democratic and anti-American. But we have a chance to END MAGA Republicans’ time in power, put in place a strong Democratic firewall against Trump’s schemes, and halt Project 2025 in its tracks. We just need to flip THREE (!!!) Republican-held House seats to take back the Majority for our Democrats. That’s why we’re calling on 955 grassroots Democrats to stand with Cory against Trump’s fascist plans.
