350 Chicago is proud to debut a new video on our YouTube Channel! In February, 350 Chicago hosted Bill McKibben, the Co-Founder of 350 Chicago and Third Act for his webinar: ?Solar Energy & Fighting Climate Change in the Second Age of Trump.
During his presentation, Bill discussed the current political moment and its effect on climate policy and the environment. Plus, he discussed the upcoming Sun Day nationwide event to celebrate the sun and the potential for solar energy in the United States as a solution to the climate crisis.

As always, 350 Chicago humbly asks you to Like our page and Subscribe to our channel. Currently, we have 118 subscribers and have gained over 3000 views collectively. Help us reach 200 subscribers.
User tip: I like to treat the videos as podcasts while cooking, doing chores around the house and even running errands (just don't watch the video while driving).
Speaker Series Resumes:
After a short hiatus, 350 Chicago's Speaker Series will be resuming on June 26th with the webinar "The Science and Policy of the Just Energy Transition" with Daniel Kammen who is the James and Katherine Lau Distinguished Professor of Sustainability at the University of California, Berkeley. His work is focused on decarbonization, energy access and climate justice. He has served as Senior Advisor for Energy & Innovation at the US Agency for International Development (USAID) & is a Coordinating Lead Author for the IPCC.
Look for another update soon on the 350 Chicago Speaker series!
We will be posting future videos over the next few months following each event. We will have a number of great speakers scheduled throughout 2025.
350 Chicago also intends to continue working with other 350 groups and organizations to bring our viewers more educational content and information regarding the climate crisis!
