First Liberty

When does free speech become banished speech?

Before I answer the question, I want to make sure that you don't
miss out on this giving opportunity. Now through June 30th, you can
multiply the impact of your gift with our $500,000 Challenge Grant.

By answering the challenge, you can ensure that First Liberty has the
resources needed to fight back against religious discrimination just
like we're doing in this case.

Evidently, the answer to the question is when you ask someone to have
a meaningful conversation about faith in a public park in Waco, Texas.

The Church of the Open Door and its pastor Ronnie Holmes have asked
for First Liberty's help in setting Waco's city leaders
straight on the First Amendment.

When Pastor Ronnie and a small group from his church attended a free
festival in a city park that was open to the public, they found
themselves banished far away from the festival to a free speech zone.

Why? They were escorted there by police because they politely engaged
festival attendees in faith-based conversations.

Watch Pastor Ronnie and First Liberty attorney Garrett Bell dive
deeper into this case and explain why these city leaders are on the
wrong side of the Constitution.

Waco's city leaders have overstepped their authority and are
trampling on the First Amendment and the Constitution.

Now it's up to you and me to put a stop to their unlawful
actions.

With your help, we can make sure that people of faith like Pastor
Ronnie are free to discuss faith not just in Waco's city
parks, but in local parks all over the country.

That's why I am asking you to give generously to First Liberty
today. You can be a difference maker in this fight to protect
religious freedom.

And remember, our $500,000 Challenge Grant will have a ripple effect
impacting cases all over the country when you make a gift before June
30th.
