Team, it’s Sherrod Brown, and I’m personally asking you to split a gift of $5 or more between End Citizens United and my new Dignity of Work PAC.

I’ve spent my life fighting for the Dignity of Work – the belief that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are, where you live or what kind of work you do. With this new endeavor, I’m committing to electing leaders who will always put workers first, but I need you with me, team.

Let me explain why this fight is more important than ever right now.

You see, back in 2010, the Supreme Court’s misguided Citizens United decision opened the door for billionaires, corporations, and special-interest groups to spend unlimited amounts on elections. Today, we’re seeing the devastating result: a government that works for corporations, at the expense of workers.

I’m sure you, your family members or your neighbors have most likely felt the effects: stagnant wages, higher costs for everything from housing to groceries to health care, and dwindling retirement savings. Well now, it’s time to fight back.

We need to get Dark Money out of politics. We need to elect leaders who will put workers first. We need to create an economy where people benefit from the wealth they create. I believe we can do all this and more, but it's going to take all of us, team.

So please, will you join our national grassroots movement by splitting a donation of $5 or more between End Citizens United and Dignity of Work PAC to invest in candidates across the country who will put people first?
