U.S. Senators are now considering the House-passed “One Big, Beautiful Bill Act.” If the Senate approves it against the wishes of many Americans, it could deprive millions of seniors, children and families access to vital health care services.

That’s why I recently asked this question of our readers: Do you believe the Trump Administration and its allies in Congress will stop at cutting Medicaid — or will they move to slash Social Security and Medicare next?

Overall, 84% of respondents said they believe the Trump Administration and its allies in Congress will turn to Social Security and Medicare next. It’s clear our supporters are deeply concerned that the Trump Administration and the Republican Majority in Congress will not stop at cutting Medicaid. They will turn to cutting Social Security and Medicare next as they look for ways to fund a massive extension of tax breaks that mainly benefit the wealthy and huge corporations.

With your continued support, the National Committee is ramping up our full-scale battle to stop nearly $700 billion in Medicaid cuts that are part of the “One Big, Beautiful Bill Act.” And we are preparing now to fight the critical battles that lie ahead that could jeopardize your hard-earned benefits.
