This session you’ve shown up tirelessly in support of a transportation package that works for ALL Oregonians. With the help of grassroots supporters like you, the package includes important programs like Great Streets and Safe Routes to School, and funding for wildlife crossings and transit. One thing that is not included, however, is investments in electrification, which is essential for us to reduce toxic air pollution and meet our climate goals (read more here).
There’s still time left to make sure that the transportation package includes climate investments in electrification like incentives for electric trucks or vehicles and charging infrastructure. We’re recruiting folks to testify at hearings this week and we need your help now. |
