The ongoing riots and violence in Los Angeles confirms what I repeatedly warned against during the 4 years of the Biden Administration: time will reveal the dangerous threat to our safety and security as a result of the millions of unvetted illegal alien “got-aways” who Democrats permitted to flood into our country.
LA looks like a third-world country today, because Biden and the Democrats purposefully opened our borders to third-world illegal aliens with violent criminal backgrounds, terrorist ties, and gang affiliations. And we continue to see the priority of Democrat officials who will always side with criminals over law enforcement, and side with illegal aliens over Americans.
Thankfully, President Trump is doing the job for California’s derelict liberal Democrat leadership, and has sent in the National Guard and the U.S. Marines to stop the violence.

I have spoken at great length these past few weeks about my concerns with the Big Ugly Bill, particularly regarding its failure to address our nation’s fiscal crisis. The 10-year bill will take our national debt to $60 trillion, and its projected negative $3 trillion fiscal impact will likely be far worse.
That is because many of the bill’s Trump-promised tax cuts and benefits expire in 2029, after his term concludes, including no taxes on tips or overtime, a tax credit for senior citizens, an enhanced child tax credit, an increase to the standard deduction, and several tax cuts for businesses. Obviously, a future Congress will be under tremendous pressure to extend these popular tax cuts, which will add hundreds of billions to the true cost of the bill.
In addition, the 10-year bill only funds the $300 billion spending increases for defense and border security for the first 5 years, so that they can keep the “cost” of the bill down. Washington never reduces spending, and you can bet that a future Congress will maintain, if not increase, the borrowing and spending for defense and border, which will also add hundreds of billions to the true cost of the bill.
There is still time for the Senate to make much-needed changes to the bill, before sending it back to the House. We need to support senators Ron Johnson (R-WI), Mike Lee (R-UT), Rand Paul (R-KY), and Rick Scott (R-FL), who are courageously fighting to make the bill more fiscally responsible.
