Join us at our annual State of the County & Public Safety Awards on Thursday, June 26, from 7:30 - 10:00 a.m. at the Army Navy Country Club. This community-focused event aims to celebrate and honor Arlington’s achievements, our community’s future, and those who make Arlington a great place to live and work. During the State of the Country & Public Safety Awards, attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about the County’s economic and developmental status from the Arlington County Board Chair Takis Karantonis.



This event pays tribute to our public safety personnel and first responders from Arlington County’s Fire Department, Police Department, Public Safety Communications & Emergency Management, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, and Office of the Sheriff, who have exemplified extraordinary heroic actions and exceptional performance of their duties. These individuals will be honored for their dedication and bravery and awards will be presented by Victoria Sanchez of 7NEWS/WJLA.
