I know I’m sharing this news a little late, but I can’t wait to tell you about it anyway:
Missouri’s second congressional district — currently represented by Republican Ann Wagner — will be a national target for Democrats in 2026.
Heartland Patriots will do everything we can to take back MO-02 for real working people next year — and today, I’m personally asking you to join us. So before I tell you more about what this means, will you please split a donation of any amount between our grassroots organization and the MO-02 Democratic Nominee Fund right now?
Back in April, the DCCC added MO-02 to its “Districts in Play” list. This is the first time since 2020 that they have decided to target this district, which tells us that they believe we have a real shot to defeat Ann Wagner in 2026.
Just look at the PPP polling of MO-02 from last month:
A generic Democrat is leading Ann Wagner by one point AND her approvals are underwater. Already, this race for Missouri’s second congressional district is gearing up to be one of the most important races happening in Missouri this cycle.
So here’s why I need your help today, John: We need to make sure the candidate running against Ann Wagner — a notorious recipient of corporate PAC money — has all the resources they need to build a strong campaign and win in 2026.
That’s why I’m asking you to split a donation between Heartland Patriots and the MO-02 Democratic Nominee Fund today. Nominee funds are set up before there’s an official nominee for most major Senate and House races across the country. Once a candidate wins their primary and secures the Democratic nomination, this money becomes immediately available to them during one of the most critical points of their campaign.
