John,
This Pride Month, we’re not just celebrating, we’re organizing.
Across the country, LGBTQ+ Americans are under attack — from book bans to healthcare restrictions to violent rhetoric. And in the face of it all, Emerge women are standing tall and fighting back.

Mayor Erica Deuso, a scientist and advocate, is running to become Pennsylvania’s first out transgender mayor.
Councilor Angelita Morillo, a formerly unhoused LGBTQ+ Latina, just won a Portland City Council seat, as one of the youngest ever to do it.
Sen. Keturah Herron made history in Kentucky as the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color elected to the State Senate.
Rep. Becca Balint became the first woman and first openly LGBTQ+ person elected to represent Vermont in Congress.
They aren’t just making history. They’re changing the future. And they all came through Emerge.
If you believe Pride means action, not silence, donate before the end-of-quarter deadline to help us train more LGBTQ+ Democratic women and non-binary leaders.

We’re not backing down. We’re building power.
Let’s make this Pride about progress.
— Team Emerge
P.S. Don’t forget to join us June 26th at 4 PM EST for our Leaders Matter event celebrating Pride Month!
