In the karma corner, I am thinking about a country group that derailed its career by speaking disrespectfully of President Bush the Younger after the USA invaded Iraq in 2003.   The lead singer of the Dixie Chicks, the diminutive Natalie Maines, told the press in London that she was ashamed the President lived in her home state of Texas.
