John, students across North Carolina are eagerly awaiting the beginning of their summer break in just days.

But while school’s out, many teachers have to pick up second or even third jobs to pay the bills.

We can’t ensure students have the best possible education if their teachers are stretched so thin — and we can’t hire the best teachers if we don’t pay them what they’re worth.

That’s why Governor Josh Stein supports INCREASING public school teacher pay and included teacher raises in his budget proposal.

We want to know where you stand, John: Do you SUPPORT or OPPOSE giving public school teachers a raise? Let us know: [[link removed]]

Governor Stein is dedicated to building strong communities and creating a bright future for our state. That means giving all of North Carolina’s children a competitive, quality education, no matter where they live or who their parents are.

He hopes he can count on you to support that work.

Thanks for your attention to this critical issue,

Team Stein
