Friend,
On June 14, Trump is throwing himself a military parade for his birthday,
with a whopping $45 million price tag.(1) On the same day, all around the
country, millions of people are committed to sending Trump a clear message
with the No Kings protests nationwide.
[ [link removed] ]There are more than 1,500 No Kings events taking place nationwide, and
millions are expected to turn out. Can you join other Courage members at
an event near you?
We want to make the contrast crystal clear: Trump and his cronies in D.C.
are wasting taxpayer money on violence and spectacle instead of keeping
our families safe and healthy.
He is deploying troops to aid ICE in abducting immigrants and ripping
families apart. He's turning the military on peaceful protestors in Los
Angeles, Orange County, and elsewhere.(2,3) And all of this is happening
while pushing a federal budget that would cut health care and other social
safety net programs to fund more militarization, more deportations and
detentions, and more tax cuts for the rich.
It's time to join our allies in the streets to reject the Trump regime and
stand up for our rights and our communities.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent
action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential
confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully
at these events. The marches around the country aim to create a safe and
inclusive space for people to show up and speak out.

friends and join us to make our voices heard.
Thank you for being with us!
