Part 1: Management of Hypermobility Spectrum

This webinar will cover topics including:
- Generalized joint hypermobility and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD)
- Strategies to manage this common diagnosis among dancers
- The difference between flexibility and hypermobility, as well as relevant risk factors for injury in the performing arts
Participants will learn how to safely maintain mobility, flexibility and stability as a performing artist, with strategies that are easily applicable to their pre- and post-performance rituals.

Part 2: Performing in Heels

This webinar will cover topics including:
- The essential stability needed at the foot, ankle and entirety of the lower extremity as well as postural control, to reduce the risk of injuries
- Exercises including how to properly warm up and cool down after performing in heels

Part 3: Cross-Training for Dancers: Building Strength, Resilience and Longevity

- Integrating strength training and mobility work, and how aerobic conditioning can enhance performance
- Break down the science behind cross-training and offer tangible, dance-specific strategies that can be implemented in a busy training schedule
Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of how to make cross-training not just ideal—but essential and achievable.
