These past months have brought so much heartbreak. Terror attacks targeting our community, hostages remaining in the hands of an evil captor and abandoned by the Netanyahu government, horrors upon horror for families in Gaza.
It’s easy to feel helpless. But even now – especially now – we have to remember there are people fighting for a better future. We stand with the majority of Israelis calling for their government to pursue a war-ending hostage deal and with the brave Gazans who are taking to the streets to protest against Hamas and the continuation of this war.
J Street continues to prioritize the release of the remaining Israeli hostages by Hamas – advocating for them in every way possible and lifting up the voices of their loved ones, who live this nightmare day in and day out.
Today, J Street is proud to partner with the New Israel Fund to support two extraordinary organizations doing life-saving work in Gaza: World Central Kitchen and Clean Shelter.
🍽️ World Central Kitchen has served over 130 million meals in the region – providing warm food to Palestinian families who have lost almost everything in the war, and Israeli communities who were devastated after October 7. 🚿 Clean Shelter is providing clean water, toilets, tents and showers – basic dignity in the middle of chaos. They’ve built emergency shelters for thousands, and they’re doing it quickly, efficiently, and with close relationships with Palestinians on the ground.
