This year’s Dirty Dozen™ highlights the 12 fruits and vegetables with the highest amount of pesticide residues – including newcomers blackberries and potatoes. Want to reduce your pesticide exposure? Blackberries’ addition to the Dirty Dozen comes after the Agriculture Department tested the fruit for pesticides for the first time in 2023. Over 80% of blackberry samples tested contained two or more pesticides. Despite being on the Dirty Dozen, blackberries are a healthy snack – they’re a good source of several vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber, yet low in sugar. Learn more:
