[link removed] [[link removed]] Friend, last month, I wrote to you about the lawsuit my office brought against Donald Trump’s administration to block his illegal and frivolous tariff regime.

Now I’m coming to you with an update: The U.S. Court of International Trade ruled in our favor, declaring Trump’s abuse of Presidential tariff powers illegal.

Look, as we argued — and the court agreed — the International Emergency Economic Powers Act does not grant the President unbounded and unilateral authority to impose tariffs on goods from nearly every country in the world in the absence of a legitimate national emergency.

This Court ruling was a huge win for working families that already can't afford high prices which would see even higher price tags. And this ruling proved these tariffs are illegal. The Trump Administration has already sought to stop this ruling from taking effect. I can promise you that I’ll keep fighting to win this case (all the way up to the Supreme Court), make sure we stop this economic chaos, and bring down prices for Coloradans.

And my basic message is simple: I will never hesitate to step up and take on Donald Trump and his administration when they violate the law and harm Coloradans — because America elects Presidents, not kings.
