I hope you will join me in congratulating two new Democrats heading to the Oklahoma State House of Representatives!

Judge Aletia Timmons ran a community focused campaign to bring her legal expertise and passion for justice to the State House for her neighbors in HD 97.

And Amanda Clinton broke records last night in a stunning victory in HD 71 where she swept every precinct and earned over 80% of the vote!

With your support, Democrats have already knocked on over 28,000 doors in Special Elections this year.

And the results speak for themselves!

Across the Legislative Special Elections, Democratic candidates have improved their margin against Republicans by 30% since 2024!

I also want to take a moment to recognize the tremendous work done by Amy Hossain in HD 74. 

Amy ran a brave and earnest campaign to give voters in Owasso a choice on their ballot.

Since 2006, only one other Democratic candidate has ran in HD 74.

These are the historic barriers facing Democratic candidates in Oklahoma. This historic lack of engagement in red districts cannot continue, and it shows why it is crucial that we continue to run aggressive campaigns throughout the state.

The State Party is committed to recruiting and supporting candidates and campaigns so that Oklahomans know that they can count on the Democratic Party to stand up for their communities.
