John,
I often think about my grandfather. He was born in Eveleth to Jewish immigrants who fled Lithuania, leaving persecution and a place where people didn’t have the basic right to choose who governed them.
They came here searching for freedom. They ran a dry goods store in Hill City and eventually made their home in St. Paul.
Those roots mean something to me. It’s why I’ve dedicated my life to protecting our democracy, and why I won’t stop now.
We’ve faced unprecedented threats to voting rights this year. And if we’re going to keep fighting back, we need to raise $27k by June 30th. Will you chip in $10 or more today to help power this campaign?

I’ve spent my time in office doing what my family taught me: work hard, look out for others, and try to be part of something bigger than yourself.
That’s why I’ve worked across party lines to expand absentee voting, enact online registration, and protect election workers from threats and intimidation. It’s why I travel regularly to all 87 counties in Minnesota—to listen, to learn, and to make sure every voter’s voice is heard.
When the stakes are high, we don't sit back, we show up. Let's do that now. Please chip in before my critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline by chipping in $10 or more now →
Thank you,
Steve
