URGENT! Despite bipartisan opposition, Senate Bill 50, the Permitless Carry bill, is headed to the House Floor for a vote. Likely today.
However , yesterday in the House Rules Committee, two Republicans broke with their party to vote no on SB 50, and several others walked out of the committee rather than have their votes recorded(!). We need to call and thank the two Representatives who boldly voted no, Representative Davis and Representative Brisson, to thank them for their vote , and to make sure they vote no when it reaches the House Floor.

You can say this: "Hi Representative Davis/Brisson, my name is ____ and I am calling to thank you for voting no on Senate Bill 50. Thank you for standing up for the safety of my community and our state.”

What is permitless carry and why is it dangerous? Younger and untrained people who have not passed a background check or had any training would now be legally carrying hidden, loaded handguns in public: at a restaurant or bar, on the street, sitting next to you at a concert or in your place of worship.
Young. Untrained. Armed.
Opposition to Permitless Carry is growing, and we can still prevent this bill from becoming law. Please make these two calls and then email your own Representative as soon as possible to stop this bill today.
