Friend: EXCITING NEWS!

LIMITED-TIME $150,000 MATCH: EVERY $1 = $3 ([link removed])
Our proud partner, H&M, will TRIPLE your gift
to The Trevor Project.*

Hi Friend,

As Vice President of Research at the Trevor Project, I spend my days leading my team in the development, analysis, and translation of research findings. But I never forget the stories behind the numbers and the faces behind the facts and figures — LGBTQ+ young people who deserve love and support from their communities.

Friend, we know that LGBTQ+ young people are struggling. 39% of LGBTQ+ young people seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year.

We also know from our research how important support and community can be for young LGBTQ+ lives. LGBTQ+ young people who reported living in very accepting communities attempted suicide at less than half the rate of those who reported living in very unaccepting communities. And when LGBTQ+ young people report feeling accepted by just one adult, their odds of attempting suicide are significantly lower. In many instances, by more than 40%.

I know you care deeply about LGBTQ+ youth’s safety and well-being. As we celebrate Pride Belongs Here this June, I’m asking you to make your gift today. ([link removed]) Thanks to our proud partner, H&M, your gift today will be tripled, turning your $25 gift into $75.

We take what we learn from our research about LGBTQ+ young people and apply it to our crisis intervention and suicide prevention work. Our data and research are a call for us to take life-saving action. We know that every step we take, every safe space we create — it all matters.

Your generosity today, Friend, is life-saving support — fueling Trevor’s 24/7/365 suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and mental health services and all our work to build a more welcoming world for LGBTQ+ young people. ([link removed])

It’s up to all of us to help LGBTQ+ young people feel empowered to show up as their most authentic selves and know they belong just as they are.

Here’s to every LGBTQ+ young person carving space for truth, and to the adults, who choose bravery over comfort, so that these young people can choose life over fear. Thank you for partnering with us in this work and for making your Pride Belongs Here gift today. ([link removed])
