Imagine this: someone convicted of a violent misdemeanor crime could carry a hidden, loaded gun in public in your state, even if your state's laws say otherwise. That's the threat of the gun lobby's top priority bill: the Concealed Carry Mandate. Over 38,000 people have taken action to block the Concealed Carry Mandate (CCM)—from phone calls, emails, to petition signatures—this year to stop this bill in its tracks, and they're just getting started. But to keep the pressure on Congress and continue the other work we do—like electing Gun Sense Candidates, advocating for gun safety legislation at all levels, and holding the gun industry accountable—we need to back those actions with resources.
