Appeals court upholds extreme New York abortion law
A 2019 law allowing abortion through birth in New York will remain in place, thanks to an appeals court ruling that threw out the lawsuit challenging it.
The Reproductive Health Act (RHA) was signed into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo, who celebrated by lighting state landmarks in pink. Yet there was little to celebrate about this law.

Abortionist with troubled history sends another woman to the ER
An abortionist responsible for at least one woman’s death has sent another woman to the emergency room.
Operation Rescue reported that the emergency occurred at the Cherry Hill Women’s Center in New Jersey, on April 4, 2025. Though the 911 audio was heavily redacted, during the call, abortionist Lisa Perriera took the phone away from the staffer to talk to the emergency dispatcher herself.
