I’m writing to you not just as the proud wife of a man running for Congress, but as a mother. As a woman who sees what’s happening in our country and refuses to stay silent. Because what we are living through right now — this rising tide of cruelty and corruption — demands every ounce of courage we have.

Mothers and working families are carrying more than we ever have. We are working two jobs, chasing affordable healthcare, worrying about the price of groceries, and trying to hold our families together while the world feels like it's falling apart.

Meanwhile, those in power like Donald Trump and Lauren Boebert strut around waving flags and quoting Scripture, pretending they speak for the heart of this nation. But let's be honest: their politics have nothing to do with Christ.

Jesus fed the hungry. He healed the sick. He uplifted the poor. He did not turn his back on immigrants. He did not cage children. He did not cheer on violence or greed or cruelty.

And yet, we are watching ICE agents march through immigrant communities in military slacks and face coverings with live ammunition. We are watching families torn apart. Our friends, neighbors, and colleagues are being treated like enemies. Our government is behaving more like the Gestapo than a republic rooted in liberty and justice.

And the most horrifying part? Our children are watching.

They are watching as we deport American-born children — born under the protections of our Constitution — simply because of who their parents are. That is not just wrong. That is immoral. It is the opposite of everything we claim to be as Americans.

So today, I’m asking you — from one parent, one neighbor, one human being to another: Stand with us. Speak up, fight back, and join our campaign to end this nightmare.

I could not be more proud to stand hand in hand with my husband John, as he runs for Congress in Colorado’s 4th District. Because John is the kind of man who lives what he preaches.

Every morning, he’s up at 4:30 AM — working multiple jobs to support our family. He’s building a people-powered campaign from the ground up, listening to families across Eastern Colorado, showing up for our community when times get tough, and giving his time, energy, and heart to make things better.

He still finds time to be an incredible father, a present husband, and a neighbor who always offers help before he’s asked. That’s the kind of leadership we need — not another self-serving politician, but a servant-leader willing to give the shirt off his back.

We are teaching our children what it means to love people — all people — and to fight for justice even when it’s hard. That’s what this campaign is about. And that’s why I’m asking you:
