Hi folks, we have a ton of great events coming up in the next few days. Whether you are looking for education, advocacy, or you just want to hang out, this is a great few days to get involved with SF YIMBY, invite a friend, and learn more about everything going on with the pro-housing movement locally!

Wednesday: Monthly Meeting
|
Programming starts around 6:30, with some light mingling before. We have some leftover beverages from a recent event, so have a drink on us!
Updates on the rezoning, state legislation, and more!
We'll be giving away one free copy of Abundance by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson to a lucky attendee at this meeting. Don’t miss your chance to win this inspiring book!

Saturday: SF YIMBY Park Hangout
|
Join us for a casual hangout in Duboce Park. Exact location tbd when we get there, so be sure to RSVP and look for updates.
We'll be joined by State Senator Scott Wiener around noon. Stop by and thank him for his work on important bills like SB-79 while you relax in a chill setting! We'll provide some beverages and snacks, but feel free to bring something to share or grab something at one of the many great nearby businesses

Monday: Support Family Zoning!
|
On Monday, June 16, the Board of Supervisors Land Use and Transportation committee will be holding an informational hearing on the Family Zoning plan. It's important for us to show up and demonstrate there's a constituency that says yes to new housing! We saw the impact at Planning back in April that dedicated advocates in Bernal Heights had about where I plan can do more.
Land Use starts at 1:30 pm, and it's in room 250 at City Hall. We'll follow up with more details the day of, including more specific timing based on the agenda, so it's important to sign up so we can keep you in the loop
