Yesterday, we sounded the alarm about Trump’s call to have ICE arrest CA Governor Gavin Newsom.

But just hours after we sent that message, we got an even more chilling update: the Trump administration has deployed active-duty U.S. Marines on American soil to quash protests in LA.

This is brazenly illegal.

Passed in 1878, the Posse Comitatus Act prohibits the President from using the military for civilian law enforcement purposes or to implement domestic policy.

Trump is illegally using the brave men and women who serve our nation to foment terror and chaos in American streets with their presence - an attempt to provoke his opponents and manufacture an emergency that he can use as pretext to expand his power and crush opposition.

With Republicans in total control of Congress, our courts are the only thing that can prevent Trump from pulling America into a full blown constitutional crisis. We need our courts now more than ever.
