Although I sponsored the bill, Senator Carson sponsored the amendment that gained Senate support. Representative Keith Erf amended it in the House along with Senate Majority Leader Jason Osborne. There were many conversations and steps along the way to this historical day.
Rep. Valerie McDonnell sponsored a similar version in the House. Many thanks to her for her hard work and the many Senators and Representatives that co-sponsored each bill.

The Parental Bill of Rights sponsored by Speaker Sherm Packard was also signed into law today. Again, it took a coordinated effort in both chambers and exemplary leadership to get this done.
Senator Lang Sponsored a similar bill in the Senate. Again many thanks to the sponsors and co-sponsors who worked tirelessly on these bills.
