John,
Across the country, people are rising up to say loud and clear: No Kings. No Crowns. This Saturday, June 14, communities are coming together at 2,000 “No Kings” Day rallies across the country—a mass mobilization to stand up to Trump’s escalating authoritarianism and the dangerous spectacle he’s planning in Washington, D.C. for his birthday.1 CHN Action is proud to partner in these timely and necessary events.
Trump’s military-style parade isn’t just another campaign stunt—it’s a calculated move to intimidate, distract, and signal a future where dissent is crushed and democracy hollowed out. He has already deployed the National Guard and U.S. Marines in Los Angeles to provoke confrontation with peaceful protestors, and his lackeys and allies are laying the groundwork for a presidency unchecked by law, accountability, or the will of the people.
Saturday is a great opportunity to join in defending democracy—to stand up to despotic acts endangering millions of us while further enriching the billionaires.

Trump’s actions speak volumes. He has blocked over $425 billion in funding that Congress has already approved, much for critical human needs programs that vulnerable families rely on.2 This includes funds for veterans' benefits, public health, disaster relief, infrastructure, and more—all held hostage by one man determined to defy our constitutional checks and balances.
Let’s be clear: what Trump is doing is not normal or democratic. We won’t stand for it.
If you can’t make it to a “No Kings” Day Rally this Saturday, donate to power our work pushing back against this authoritarian administration.
