Here is something you may not know about me, John:
I am a proud member of a union.
As an adjunct professor at UC Irvine’s law school, I am a part of the University of California-American Federation of Teachers union. I have also worked with labor unions when I was serving on the Chino Valley School Board to create career programs for students.
Workers’ rights are under attack. If I am elected to Congress, I will be a champion for collective bargaining, because I know firsthand how important it is to stand up for unions.
The Trump Administration is going after workers’ protections and the ability to join a union. In his first few months in office, he has made it a priority to go after good-paying jobs for the middle class, benefits for families, and the ability to simply thrive in our communities.
Demonizing organized labor and unions is undercutting the American Dream that is out of reach for so many of us. It is scary, and my opponent Young Kim is letting it happen.
It is important that we fight back, and it starts by flipping CA-40 and the House majority. If you’re with me, $3 or any amount would show that we have the people behind this movement.
