Dear FAIR Friend, 

Militarized, illegal and inhumane attacks on migrants, protesters and those who fight for humanitarian aid and justice in Palestine have dominated headlines this week. Journalists in Los Angeles are being shot with rubber bullets and chemical munitions. Journalists in Palestine are being murdered in record numbers. The Trump administration and other fascist regimes around the world want us to be too intimidated to speak up. That’s why we have to do the exact opposite!

We need resources to continue this work defiantly.

FAIR was founded on the principles of the First Amendment, and democratic and just access to information for all. We refuse to be intimidated or back down, but we’re well aware that we need to prepare ourselves for the fight ahead. 

We’re a week into our summer fundraiser, with an ambitious goal to raise $30,000. We try to keep our fundraisers on a quarterly schedule, so that we keep your inboxes full of critical media analysis and not constant requests for money. 

But during these crucial months, we need all hands on deck to boost our donations.
