They have agreed to triple-match every gift received — up to an incredible $183,000 — to support research in honor of this special month. During Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, we focus on raising awareness about Alzheimer's and all other dementia while educating on the warning signs, the difference between Alzheimer's and typical aging and the importance of early detection.
There is still much about dementia that is not widely known. Many people are aware of Alzheimer's, for example, but are unaware that it's just one of many types of dementia. Every June, we work to expand the public's knowledge about dementia and empower them to understand more about their brain health.
