Friend,
Over the past 20 years, we’ve had the honor of accompanying and fighting alongside over 8,000 children, striving to ensure that each one of them is safe, supported, and free.
We have advocated for the rights and best interests of resilient children like Daniel,* a 13 year old boy from Honduras who arrived in the U.S. on his own after surviving human trafficking.
Upon arrival, Daniel was pushed into a system so complex that it confuses even seasoned attorneys . Alone, in what felt like intimidating and unwelcoming government custody, Daniel never had the opportunity to voice his wishes or story—let alone receive support for his severe post-traumatic stress disorder.
That changed when a Child Advocate—made possible by your support—entered Daniel’s life and became his ally. In partnership with Daniel’s attorney, his Child Advocate worked for over two years to ensure Daniel received mental health care, medical treatment, and ultimately, the support he needed to receive permanent immigration status and placement in a supportive foster care program.
Today, he is safe, healing, and finally able to build a future freer and greater than the one he faced in a system that sought to silence him.
Yet Daniel’s story is still far too rare. Across the country, countless unaccompanied immigrant children continue to face complex court hearings and prolonged stays in detention alone—frightened, confused, and without a voice.
You can change that.
Together, we can meet this moment with courage and commitment. So, we ask you: Will you stand on the right side of history? Will you make a gift today to ensure no immigrant child faces this system alone?
