John,
Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support you gave our campaign. John, because of you and thousands of voters, supporters, donors, and volunteers. We made the run-off election in an extremely competitive field of three candidates.
Despite all the election day havoc and mishaps, we finished in first place with close to 40% of the votes and are now headed to an August 11th run-off election.
You proved that a critical mass of individuals can make a difference if we work together. Thank you for being a part of this, you've made a big impact that helped us get this far.
Now I just need your support one more time. Please help us continue the work we have started to move DeKalb and Georgia and America -- forward. It's time for a change, and together we can make that change a reality.
John, run-offs are notoriously low turnout elections where the key to victory is getting out our supporters one more time. That is our number one goal between now and August 11th. To achieve this, we are deploying a massive field campaign, focused solely on getting voters back out again!
I know times are tough for many. You know your budget and what you can afford. I just ask that you be as generous as you can. Your donation is going to help us make major systemic changes to the structures of power in our country.
Our goal is to lead by example, making DeKalb County a laboratory for how to reform policing, to fight climate change, to expand voting rights and create a fairer democracy, and ensure we leave a healthier, cleaner, and more equitable and equal planet for now and future generations.
Help us make the historic changes that will echo long into the future. Help us and it will change the world.
Thank you again!
- Ted
