** Putting American Workers First
------------------------------------------------------------

Last week, the House voted to pass several important pieces of legislation that put American workers and businesses first and eliminate fraud. These included:

H.R. 2966 ([link removed]) , the American Entrepreneurs First Act - This bill requires the Small Business Administration (SBA) to require proof of citizenship and age verification when providing taxpayer loans to businesses.

H.R. 1804 ([link removed]) , the Loan Agent Oversight Act - This bill requires the SBA to provide greater transparency and accountability of its loan programs to Congress. This reform is critical to reducing fraud, as the SBA recently revealed that its loan programs had more than $335 million ([link removed]) in reported fraudulent spending.

This coming week, my colleagues and I will build on these important reforms that put Americans first with legislation addressing sanctuary cities and non-citizens voting in U.S. elections.

Stay tuned ([link removed]) for more information on these important reforms later this week.

** Celebrating Our Volunteers
------------------------------------------------------------

This week, the Kenosha County Republican Party will honor one of our outstanding volunteers - Pamela Mundling.

Pamela recently was awarded the Wisconsin Republican Party’s Terry Kohler Award. This award is given out to a volunteer whose effort promoting conservatives and conservative causes goes above and beyond.

Pamela has been a strong volunteer for the past 20 years spending time door knocking, marching in parades, working the polls, and more!

Volunteers like Pamela help us keep Wisconsin’s First District Red.

For example, in 2018, we received 47.2% of the vote in Kenosha County and LOST the county by 2%, but still winning the race for WI-01. But thanks to the hard work of volunteers like Pamela, in 2024, we received 53.3% of the vote in Kenosha County and WON the county by 8.7%. We’ve seen a 10.7% swing in our direction in the last 6 years.

At the top of the ticket, in 2020, President Trump received 50.7% of the vote in Kenosha County and WON the county by 3.1%. But in 2024, President Trump received 52.3% of the vote in Kenosha County and WON the county by 6.2%. President Trump saw a 3.09% swing in his direction over the last 4 years.

That increase is the biggest among Wisconsin’s most populous counties. This shift is only possible through the hard work of volunteers like Pamela.

Please join me in congratulating Pamela on this award and thanking her and all of our hardworking volunteers for their time and service.

On Wisconsin,

Bryan Steil
