But, in 2024, a new chapter began in Santina’s life when she joined AE’s Improved Literacy Program.
Run in partnership with the local church, the program equips South Sudanese women with basic reading and writing skills, helping them unlock access to knowledge, education and economic opportunities.
Santina reflects,
“Now, I can read and write because of the learning program.”
