I’m writing you from our office in Arlington, Virginia with a sense of urgency – the kind that comes when everything you fought for teeters on the edge of destruction.

Even if you don’t live in Virginia, what happens here in this state’s 2025 elections is likely to impact where you live in 2026.

This election isn't just about one state. It’s our first big chance to really fight back against the extreme right-wing wrecking ball that wants to rewind time, erase rights, and silence voices.

That's why I’m asking you to stand with us today so we have time to prepare for the November 2025 election — prepare to fight like your rights, your vote, your future are on the line.   Because they are.

At the Feminist Majority, we know how to win in Virginia — because we already have.

In 2019, our organizing in Virginia helped win pro-equality majority control of the Virginia State House—the first such majority in 40 years. That next year, we succeeded in finally winning the vote in the Virginia House and Senate to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.

And in 2023 we mobilized young voters to defeat efforts by anti-equality candidates to take over the Virginia state legislature.

This 2025 election will come down to turnout.  Young voters will decide it – especially young women voters.

Already, your Feminist Majority is mobilizing to:

✅  Recruit, train, and equip teams of student organizers on college campuses across Virginia.

✅  Alert students about new voting rules, ID requirements, and early voting dates — so no one gets turned away.

✅  Train rapid response teams to counter disinformation and staff election protection hotlines with legal experts to fight MAGA voter suppression in real time.

In short, we’re building a wall of campus activism that stretches across the entire Commonwealth. This is how we will win. This is how we stop Trump’s chaos and the MAGA War Against Women.

Dark-money groups and billionaire donors have made Virginia a top target. 

Their goal: elect anti-abortion, pro-gun candidates — and unleash a flood of MAGA policies.

No matter where you live — this is your fight. Whatever happens in Virginia, win or lose, will be the headlines and will affect the 2026 election.

The Feminist Majority’s Campus Mobilization program is battle-tested. We’ve used it to win in Virginia before.

Campus organizing takes planning, people, and power.  We don’t have the luxury of waiting. We must act now. Training, mobilizing, and organizing takes resources and takes time, and time is short.

That’s why we’re asking you:
