Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:
DDay
General Eisenhower: "The eyes of the world are upon you..." Ike was right, and they were victorious 81 years ago. Their courage changed the course of history, and their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
The Greatest Generation. Thank you.

Make DOGE Permanent Act
DOGE lifted the hood of federal government spending and put on full display the massive programs and inefficiencies wasting American taxpayer dollars. Billions were splurged on waste, fraud, and abuse - but also on programs that clearly do not align with the core values of the American people.
Regardless of which party controls the White House, the mission of DOGE in identifying wasteful spending must continue. To ensure that, Congress must have the best tools available to identify this ridiculous spending in real time and allow us to reform government spending well into the future.
That is why I introduced H.R. 3733, the Make DOGE Permanent Act, to give Congress permanent & effective tools to go after waste, fraud, and abuse in our government in real time.
Read the Fox News article about it here.
Repealing the Inflation Reduction Act
The Inflation Reduction Act is providing massive unlimited subsidies to billion dollar corporations and Chinese manufacturers to the detriment of American energy freedom and dominance. If we want to unleash American energy dominance and support the President’s energy agenda, we have no choice but to fully — and immediately — repeal the Green New Scam.
Last week, I sent a clear message to my colleagues in the Senate who are fighting to expand or preserve the Inflation Reduction Act in the Big Beautiful Bill. If they backslide on the Inflation Reduction Act, I will be a NO on the final passage of the Big Beautiful Bill. I will not vote for something that will rip up our beautiful Texas hill country.

Medicaid Reform
My position on Medicaid reform is simple and based on common sense. Those who are able to work shouldn't be getting benefits without working. Able-bodied Americans shouldn't be getting more benefits than the vulnerable, for whom the program was created.
In light of the fight to reform Medicaid, a brand new study was published that displays the common hobbies of those on Medicaid who are able-bodied. The three top hobbies are watching TV, playing video games, and sleeping.
Medicaid was intended to assist vulnerable populations like the disabled — not Americans who refuse to go to work. This is why I am fighting to make Medicaid work for the ones who need it.
The Remembrance Project
Last week, I was delighted to meet with The Remembrance Project National Director and Co-Founder Maria Espinoza to discuss border security and helping the victims of illegal alien crime and their families.
I will always stand with Angel families and their lost loved ones.
