I’ll get straight to the point:
The “big, beautiful” bill Republicans are pushing is a brutal attack on health care for millions of Americans.

— The New York Times
Republicans claim it’s about reducing “waste, fraud, and abuse,” but according to the Congressional Budget Office, that is not the full story.
Trump’s bill would slash at least $600 billion from Medicaid, roll back the Affordable Care Act, penalize states that fund care for pregnant women and take coverage from nearly 11 million people.
I’ve met the people Medicaid helps – seniors in rural towns, parents struggling with medical debt, children with disabilities who rely on these programs. This is about real people and real lives.
This moment is about more than “budgets” and this fight is deeply personal to me. I’ve spent my tenure in Congress putting working families first and as long as I have a voice in the Senate, I’ll continue to stand up for the care and resources Americans count on.
Together, we’ll continue standing up and protecting health care now and for generations to come. If you believe every family deserves access to health care, pitch in now to power our work and help elect leaders who will protect our health care.
