John, the Supreme
Court is expected to rule this month on cases that could reshape our
country. Here are a few of the decisions we’re waiting for to drop:

* Attacks on birthright citizenship.
* Efforts to roll back LGBTQ+ inclusion in the classroom.
* Equal representation for African Americans in redistricting.

We don’t have to remind you that the far-right conservative majority has
already gutted abortion rights and affirmative action. And they’re just
getting started.

It’s easy to feel powerless while we wait for the next blow. But here’s
the truth:

We’re not powerless, John.

Every decision made by this court was shaped by political choices — who
holds the White House, who’s in the Senate, who gets to define what
"justice" looks like.
