Hi, it’s Congresswoman Sarah McBride.

Right now, the GOP is using LGBTQ+ people as pawns. They’re not offering solutions to make everyone's lives better. Instead, they’re busy launching attacks — on our rights and yes, on me.

As the first openly trans member of Congress, I knew there would be moments like this. But I didn’t run for Congress to debate which bathroom I use or entertain cruelty from my Republican colleagues.

I ran to deliver for working families. To fight for paid leave. To protect our freedoms. And I will never stop defending the LGBTQ+ community from attacks, manufactured distractions, and the hostility too many of us endure every day.

I won’t let the GOP’s pettiness and bullying derail my work. Has it been easy? No. These fights never are. But I’ve never felt alone — because I have people like you and Fair Shot PAC standing with me.

If I can count on your support this Pride Month, split a donation of $5 or whatever you can between my campaign and Fair Shot PAC today. Every donation helps me defend the LGBTQ+ community and keep up the fight for working families in Congress. [[link removed]]

Growing up, I couldn’t imagine a future like mine. I wasn’t sure this country’s heart was big enough to love someone like me.

Over the last decade, though, I’ve been able to bear witness to change that once seemed so impossible to me as a kid that it was almost incomprehensible. Because people believed it could. Because we fought for it.

That’s what Pride means to me. It's a call to action and a reminder that even in the face of hate, we have the power to fight back with love, with truth, and with unshakable resolve.

So this Pride Month, if you’re ready to do your part to create a better future for all of us, please consider making a split donation of $5 between my campaign and Fair Shot PAC. [[link removed]]
